Ross Russell told me he sold fewer than 500 copies of Dial 901 in all its pressings. Total number of copies sold for each of the 10-inch Parker Dials were in the hundreds. They are scarcer than most collectors think. As for the high-number Dial 78s, there are some that no big-time collectors have ever seen.

Hello,I have a few original jazz LPS which I am considering selling.They include Charlie Parker Dial 207 Volume Three microgroove 10 inch,GC,Warne Marsh quintet Music For Prancing MODLP 125 VGC,Bird And Diz Clef 9026 UK Pressing,Charles Mingus Quintet on Debut ( Precognition/Portrait) and a couple of other titles.I have worked in a record/cd store in the past and know that they are valuable but am in no way a jazz specialist and wondering the best way,besides ebay to sell them.Can you please advise?Regards,Elise
