I am a repeat customer of yours and am spinning (as I type) a sweet, mono pressing of John Jenkins BLP 1573 you sold me. A first pressing of this LP is going for $800 on ebay right now but I cannot imagine it sounds 30 times better than the pressing I have. Clean, lovely mono sound! So refreshing when LPs arrive as they are described. Keep posting those sweet Blue Notes!

I noticed your album on top of the list. My experience is that it pays off. It is an eye-catcher which should induce people to look for “other items for sale”.
Btw: when you say, you’re better off not trying, it implies not to put any records for sale!

Hello. I just stumbled upon this site and am very impressed. The price guide alone is a very nice feature but the inclusion of commentary and write-ups is fantastic. I have been selling on ebay for many years and have heard that the summer is the worst. But some of my top pieces have sold in the dead of summer. You never know. That being said, i just listed a FANTASTIC sampling of a collection of 40s and 50s Jazz 78s that i obtained. I am not normally a 78 guy but when i stumbled upon these, i knew what was up. Rudolf asks on another post about whether summer may not be a good time to be listing records on eBay. I’ve been watching eBay for years and have always wondered about this. I do know that there are lulls in the market, but my experience is that they come in spurts and sometimes at the most unexpected times. There was a noticeable lull for a few weeks earlier this year, that I assumed was related to the economy. But, boom, things picked up quickly. August can be slow, with many Europeans on vacation. But my experience with eBay is that it’s like the stock market: It’s impossible to time it, so you’re better off not trying.
