Read carefully though. The title said "Deep Grove", not groove.

Maybe he is hinting at the fact that the buyer would throw the album into a deep grove due to rage, or maybe the seller found the album in a grove? :)

Very interesting that Atomic ignored your emails, Fredrik, as it would indicate that perhaps they were avoiding the inevitable truth of the situation. On the other hand, I find it interesting that the winner of the previous copy specifically mentioned that the record was as described...? Who knows.

I bought a VG+ Giant Steps black label from the seller Swanstone. I wouldnt really even call it VG. There was heat damage on the second side and it was pretty much unlistenable. I should have known when I was given a second chance offer 5 minutes after the auction ended. I returned it and they relisted with the same listing as when I bought it. Thats ebay I guess

The fact that the description on the McLean's album mentioned that 'There is no “EAR”' made that album a very expensive Liberty pressing.

I returned a warped LP back to Atomic. The record was playable, but in my opinion a warp severely diminishes the value. The record was relisted with the exact same description with no mention of the warp. It has been a while so my memory is fuzzy, but I think it sold for +/- 10% what I had paid. I didn't follow if the item was relisted again after that.
