I bought about 200 45s With primarely 2 songs on each side from an old lady Whos husband or exbyfriend had owned. This stuff is grade A nm condition and I am talking both sleeve an media. Also got about 300 in Perfect shape 78s. All the Music is jazz. I bought the lot because I got it real cheap. She was old and just wanted to det rid of it. Artists include Milses Davis, Modern jazz Quintet, Art pepper, Mulligan, Shaw, Armstrong, Goodman, plus many many more. I am into LPs so these 45s have only been check played. Sound Perfect. The records are from the mid 50s. Anyone interested?

I dunno, I think it's pretty simple, Joe: hype, hype, hype. The descriptions, the big lots of all collectible titles. If you'll notice, Atomic Records has the same kind of reputation on eBay and people pay exorbitant amounts for their records too, which I think is to say that some more experienced collectors feel they can trust that they will be getting a quality product with these sellers so they are willing to bid a little higher with them. But FTR this bears no relation to me or my own personal bidding habits.

The Sonny play grade is very high I gues NM- since you can hear very faint noise in beginning parts.
I would be happy with this LP.

Al, did you notice that there's an audio clip for the Clark record? What do you make of it? What's the play grade on this? (Keep in mind that the seller did not sum the channels so playback is in stereo.)
.
Regarding Bob, all I have to say is this: from what I have seen, anyone who knows the going rate for a record and bids accordingly on a Bob Djukic auction is usually not going to win.
