bill, right you are. Blue Note leased masters from French Vogue to be issued in their 10″ series. The most common being the Clifford Brown/Gigi Gryce Paris sessions. Fats Sadi and Wade Legge were also in the lot.

as a huge yusef lateef fan, i would love to hear this!

sad story: a copy of prestige 7112, the sounds of yusef lateef, in beautiful NM condition was available for just $50 at a local shop. when i heard, i didn’t even put on a coat. i drove right over. I saw a guy at the register with it as i walked in. 🙁

but the owner has reserved things for me in the past, so i hold no ill will. gotta keep other customers too!
