And no. I don’t budget (but I pay what I feel is correct to my mind), but it’s rarely spontaneous – I’m far too methodical for that. i have a question about your buying philosophy, if it is not too personal: do you budget for a very long time to buy such an expensive record, or is it more of a spontaneous act because the price is right at the moment? i apologize if this is an intrusive question, but i am very curious, as i believe in bargain hunting (i recently got a mint original of africa/brass for $40).

though i realize there will never be any “bargains” with 1568. 🙂
