@Mark Agreed the consigment fee is probably low enough to make the consigmnet worthwhile....anyway i guess that the condition of the LP's must be really good to make the cut and be sold by JRC.

@Anders i am within agreement on the Candy LP, if that record was listed by JRC with his usual played once talk, no doubt that record gets that price,JRC is getting unheard of prices on his records, even the ones you would not think would not be that valuable, a lot of of his records are co-signment , i wonder what the cut is,?lol

Aloha Al, I'm amazed the seller of the Morgan record continues to list it at 3500.00, has for a while and doesn't revise it. Maybe they don't necessarily want to sell it, thus the high starting price.

The Kenny Burrell record from the JRC was taken down. I wrote Fred and he said upon further inspection found some audible issues with it. He said it's a shame as the cover is in such nice condition. This particular record will not be relisted.

Even though you may not be on the "hunt" as before, I hope you are still spinning your favorite vinyl at your home! Mahalo!

Hi Al, Yes that's kind of steep prices for the Morgans and Chet. It is possible that the Candy would sell for that in the future maybe but from a seller like Jazzrecordcenter IMO. The Chet does not even have a description so who would fork out that kind of money?
The crossroads seller has some nice items, including the Cliff Jordan and Griffin, that look to be in very nice condition.
It will be interesting to see where they end up money-wise.
