Oh gosh. I have the fats Sadi blue note with red and black cover Shiny vinyl …i no longer have a turn table. So can’t play it. I am no record expert but i think condition is very good, anybody interested? I am in the DC/Baltimore area

Hi Rudolf. The cover of Peckin’ Time shows a case used to store and/or transport original studio tapes (or is it master shellacs?), hence the stamp “Master Record Handle With Care”. But I do agree that it is not the most attractive cover.

That Dexter on offer definitely does not have a DG.

The Dexter looks nice but it says in the yellow part of the listing that it is DG. But it looks non-DG to me?
What do you think? I don’t have access to Fred’s book so I can’t check if it should have DG or not.

12″ blue notes with awful covers: jackie’s bag and peckin’ time. of course, this is just my opinion.

The Sadi album on Blue Note has a flashing cover design indeed. I have the Vogue original which has a lovely black and white picture of the group with album title in green letters. Sadi’s approach of the vibes is a mix of Hampton and Bags.
