I think we all are experimenting some sort of frustration towards the 1000 (or over) vinyl club.Me too.But I really do hope NOT to have my collection completed.
What the hell I could do in that case ?
I hate modern dance…
And have patience,be cool:that single record is still awaitin’ for us, somewhere.
About 20 years ago I had the opportunity to buy one A.Ayler on Swedish Bird Notes.The requested price was too high for me.
Ten years after I found both Bird Notes in not more than 20 days,one from Denmark,the other from Italy via Japan.
I got them.Both belong to the (over) 1000 club.

hey,maarten-anytime you find yourself comparing ebay to “a woman,you can’t do without”,I’d say it’s time to SHUT down the computer and go to a museum,catch some live jazz,see some modern dance..ANYTHING,just get out of the house,immediately!(Unfortunately,I know exactly what you’re talking about…)

mayby we can say that from now on all the albums from the 1500 BN series will go to 1000 and up..
Ofcourse this has all to do with the (ebay)bidding system… there is always 1 person somewhere in the world who will pay almost anything for an album… and before you now it, some scarry people jump in right after, and we have a new high min. price..what is it what they say about ebay?: It’s like a woman, you can’t do without, but once a while IT REALLY FREAKS YOU OUT!!…. ..or something like that..
The opener: what a beautifull cover, especially if you have the thick,shiny original.I am stiil on the look for a second or liberty…patience….
