I was the second highest bidder on this one unfortunately.

I’m always surprised that this record, and many more remain unknown. René Thomas was a guitar genius, with a very special tone. Check the Lou Bennett « Enfin » album. The Guy is incredible.

French jazz deserve much more attention. In this case Belgian jazz played by Belgian/ US / French group on a French label..

Languettes, correct. The idea was French only. Never seen them elsewhere.
René Thomas was a very talented musician. I never saw the album on sale.

I think those are called “languettes.” Some of my French LPs still have them attached. René Thomas is/was a great guitarist, though I’ve never seen the LP in question before either.

I noticed that René Thomas album still had the detachable album details (shown top right of the picture). These barely had the size of a postage stamp. I have been told that the retail seller was supposed to detach them for re-ordering the same album.
