Nice auction by JRC, the real rarity of the herd is the Sonny Clark on Time, far tougher to find than his Blue Note input. This is a Fine recording. I had the oppportunity for buying a NM copy and stupidly I did not pull the trigger…

He’s a reputable guy. Back 20 years ago or so he used to let me come to his house to pick through stuff. The laminated cover also caught my eye. I’d have to look, but off the top of my head I can’t think of any Riversides I own with a laminated cover. I did some Googling, and wouldn’t you know it — some fella named “Rudolf” left a comment on the subject over at LJC a few years ago! 😉
