I bought my NM/NM copy of Cool Struttin’ for $3600 a couple of years ago from one of the greatest dealers in the world, worth every penny. But a VG copy for nearly $2000, that’s messed up.

Can’t seem to find it in the ol’ completed listings file, but a VG copy of “Cool Struttin'” just narrowly missed the $2000 mark according to Collectors’ Frenzy. VG.
I can think of a lot more things to buy for $2000 than a record in that condition. Ten really nice, NM $200 LPs, for instance.

Do I have this right? – is there anywhere a list of all these features for Riverside? Previously, I was only aware of the 4 different early labels.

Earl :On the second press the lettering is different and there are both mono and stereo number mentionned. On the first it reads hi fidelity on the top right. IIRC

There was a sealed copy of Waltz For Debby recently on the bay that only fetched $200 USD. I thought about snagging it, but the back cover looked off.. In fact the back cover looked exactly like the back cover of the copy that’s mentioned here. Catalogue number for both mono and stereo listed on the top… for some reason i thought this was later pressing.. any thoughts?

That waltz for debby should be Rlp on the label to be first press.

Also no mention of an ear in the Inventions and Dimensions auction. That seller knows his stuff and will mention if an ear is actually present.
