Al, i think the Blue Train is not the coveted NY23 label.

GST : no, Workout is not particularily rare, it pop up many times on Ebay, but it is Mobley and it is Blue Note. And it is one of his finest sessions. And it is sold by Atomic Records. You have the right combination for a bidding war.

I was watching that Blue Train as well. I wouldn’t care if my copy had the New York 23 label on one side or not, but I also wouldn’t pay a premium for what may be a second pressing.

Here’s another one that appears to be a “second” pressing that went for big bucks:

Workout is a great record, but I don’t understand the prices it demands. Is it particularly rare?
