I recently picked that Gryce record up, and I think I listened to it once, but I’m not 100% certain. It just didn’t resonate, and must have been fairly forgettable.. though the lineup appears out of this world.

…Guilty as charged Al ! I admit, I have more than a few albums that I have only listened to only once upon their arrival. (Usually just before putting them on the shelf or behind glass on the wall.) Then there are those LP’s that I may not have listened to at all… Those are what I refer to as the “bonus LP’s” that in most cases were shipped by some good intentioned seller who really just wants to clear out their basement and wants their LP’s to go to a good home instead of the curb side. So they toss in a few extras with the original purchase… I have a small pile of these as I suspect most of us probably do. There are only so many hours in a given day and I tend to put on an LP based on mood, and more often than not, what is being discussed here in the Jazz Collective at the time…
