I agree that the appeal is still Ike Quebec. (I’ll admit I’m not the biggest jazz guitar fan). It is a great record, despite the listing hiccup. I think the pictures allow for reasonable independent evaluation, but a dissatisfaction return should also be allowed no questions asked, no hurt feelings, given the situation.

I think his mention of DG for the Ike Quebec was simply a mistake, as he has many other listings which don’t include DG. Just missed one, I suppose. That seller gets top dollar! Wow.

The price is high for that one, but it’s a gorgeous record. Ike is in top form, and so is Paul Chambers.

Indeed the Ike Quebec is a release without deep groove. For me the appeal is definitely Ike Quebec. Blue and Sentimental is a superb album and it’s hard to see this beauty change hands for 548 bucks… Thankfully I have the CD to listen to over and over 😉

Same thing with the We Three, by the way. I have to make do with the CD. Oh, and Al: the seller of the We Three had some great photos online if you ask me and he made one thing clear: the record was in VG condition. I wouldn’t call that stingy; I’d say less is more 🙂
