Michel/Chris: as you suggested, 7169 is an early reissue of 7075. The latter has never been issued in a N.J. version. That is to say, I have seen it in N.Y. version only. The cover of 7075 is an abstract by Hannan. 7169 has a very nice photo cover by Esmond Edwards and is collectible as well. It has the yellow/black label of course.

“Work” is a reissue of PRLP 7075 “Thelonious Monk / Sonny Rollins” which had a different cover and NYC labels. It was originally released in ’56 – “Work” is a Bergenfield label reissue from ’59.

@Joe L :Al means that all the songs of this record were previously issued on various Prestige titles. Rudolf probably wouldgive us more precisions or corrections ,maybe Prestige 7075
