Agreed. No Blue Note was originally sold with any shrinkwrap. But, as the Honourable and Knowledgeable Rudolf says :

“…it is sellers’ absolute right to lure the naive…”

I thought they used the loose shrink wrap in the early ’60s.

you say “and the shrink wrap may even be original, who knows”. Every knowledgeable collector knows that Blue Notes in that period did not come with shrink wraps. But, of course, it is sellers’ absolute right to lure the naive.
