I see the mono version from time to time, not so rare to say. euclidrecords sold a VG++ Mono version of the Real McCoy back on the 3rd of Jan for $39.99, I’m really satisfied with my King Pressing and if I knew it brought that kind of money. I would have flipped it. Outrageous and Crazy people out there.

I had a Liberty Pressing “NO Van Gelder” Stamp and its the worst Blue Note Pressing That I have ever owned. I’m extremely happy with My Japanese King.

What is outrageous to me is I actually prefer the stereo Black b mid 70’s Liberty Tyner over the Mono Original I have, both near mint. Might be time to sell?

This is not the usual for me, typically I do prefer the mono. I do have a NY USA Stereo McLean Bluesnik I like better than the mono original.

It looks like the buyer went all in for A Real McCoy Mono. I’ve lost to the winning bidder in the recent past (I think). That user must be going for an all-or-nothing jazz grab with the seller.

Or of course, you have to remember that this item has the following particulars:

The ORIGINAL Liberty label! Gasp!
A record seller since 1976! We have a post-gas crisis seller on our hands. The best years for vinyl! Oh my!
A conservative grader! Wow!
