Michel: I think one of the problems with the collection that kalahn7 is selling is the “Humidity Stains” along the bottom of several lps is MOLD. I’ve bought and sold enough collections with mold issues to recognize that the black spotting is not just a water stain but spreading mold spores. The big question is whether or not the mold spores are also inside the jacket and on the vinyl itself. Removing dried mold off a record is like trying to clean barnacles off the bottom of a boat.

I think Peter Trunk was part of the house band at the Blue note club in Berlin.
There is a great trio album titled TRIO Conception recorded for Philips live at the Blue note with Jan Huydts and Joe Nay.
Great music and great cover art.
I would love to have a record he owned in my collection.

Peter Trunk! Great bass player who died rather tragically, I believe hit by an automobile. What a sad loss for jazz in Europe. Would be interested if any non-record material was available for proper placement, such as letters or photographs.

I was very surprised to see Lou Donaldson’s “Sunny Side Up” going for less than 500 $, with humidity stain on back. That’s a record i’d love to own, i with a final price under 400 $ i could have had my chance… Bud i did not even bid because stratospheric prices on Blue Note now prevent me to do so…Maybe i should ask more risky…
