As Felixstrange notes, he went on to a pretty impressive career as a producer for Columbia and Verve working with Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Zappa and others.

He’s quite a fascinating guy. There’s a documentary about him, but I haven’t yet had a chance to see it. Anybody else know more about Transition?
