I'm also curious, what's wrong with someone wanted to get something at any cost. I mean it sucks if you want it too, but I pretty much want NM copies of most collectible Jazz records but I know that I can't afford it so I do what I can. Sometimes I win, mostly I'm outbid. But I just don't see anything wrong with someone wanting to spend very high dollar to fill out there collection. I've done it before and would do it more often if I could(or if I was near the end of completing a catalog). I mean, the value of something is just what someone is willing to pay for it right?

is it that you can't afford higher prices, or is do you hink it is not worth such a price? ..Can someone help it that he has a lot of money to spend on something that he thinks it's worth?

If the gentleman who's apparently willing to pay ANY amount for the Monk lp is reading this, I'm the guy bidding on it, pushing the price up for you.

Nothing bothers me more about bidding on ebay than the greedy "collectors" with the deep pockets who set ridiculously high maximum bids with hours left to go in an auction. At this point (nearing $600), I don't even want to win it anymore. But I do hope you're forced to expend your entire max bid.

Good luck!
