					<description><![CDATA[McCoy Tyner&#039;s &#039;Inception&#039; is an interesting record. It allows us to hear the young pianist outside the usual context of the classic quartet of Coltrane during this period. The record is aptly named as we hear the beginnings of his modal playing especially on &#039;Effendi&#039; and the direction of his more mature work post-Coltrane are also intimated, but his be-bop roots are still in evidence. A pretty cool session...]]></description>
