I see that the copy of Bags Groove went for $69.88. (VG+/Ex) I have about 3 copies of this. The last one was this NJ pressing for S15 or S20 Canadian dollars in at least this shape or better which I found in a record store. I added it to 2 other of the same both on OJC which was my first Modern Jazz (50’s - 60’s MJ) purchase. This was perhaps 11 years ago (prior to my 1998 ebay account opening) It completed an assignment to purchase this given to me by my Jazz drum instructor in 1978 when I was studying with Stan Perry who played for Phil Nimmons and Nine - a Canadian big band combo I first heard live in the 70’s. I never did acquire it in spite of the recommendation so I was quick to grab it but unaware at the time of prices and price guides. I payed $30.00 Canadian (US was about .8 on the exchange at the time I think). Alot to pay for a mint copy of an OJC but considering it completed my homework assignment, not bad.
