I even remember the isolated &quot;listening rooms&quot; where you could play a copy of the record you wanted before purchase. The used shops that provide a turntable for that purpose today are among my favorites-when you can find them.]]></description>

Aaron I would have to agree with you on this. Most record stores from the the 1950&#039;s had there records in green sleeves. The jacket would be on display you took it to the clerk or owner, they would get the record for you.My friend had a record store he use to advertise to buy records in the 1970&#039;s he had a sealing machine, every record that was near mint that he purchased was sealed!!!]]></description>
