Herbie’s Maiden Voyage $1580 …that is incredible.
Just an amazing amount of corn for this title, no matter the condition.
For that money, I’d expect Herbie to deliver it himself and give a performance in my living room.

Yeah, perhaps that’s true.

Duke Jordan “Flight to Jordan” clocked in at $1800, which also seems quite high for that record (though it’s done damage before).

I guess the auction simple drew the attention of some high roller buyers with deep pockets that probably were more concerned with the M- conditions than with getting absolute first pressings. Who can blame them?
