This is a wonderful and crazy story Al!

There is definitly something strange going on here... and maybe Dan is right.. it is a sign!
Applying numerology rules to this record gives always the same result... number 2 ! Maybe to remind you of your second birthday?!

Just look at this:
Prestige 191 (1+9+1 = 11, 1+1 = 2!)
Price 168.50 (1+6+8+5+0 = 20, 2+0 = 2!)
Even the number of your article is 4745 (4+7+4+5 = 20, 2+0= 2!)

I'd say, it is a sign! Happy 60th birthday, and congrats for the nice records!

Well...you'll be happy to know that no listed jazz record was recorded on the day of your circumcision-there would've been too many jokes. But one LP was recorded on your birthday Feb 4, 1953- Singing Trumpets -Buck Clayton's Buckaroos and Wild Bill Davidson's Bulldozers. Jazztone J1267.

Here are the details: Mezz Mezzrow plays on Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams....Side 1) Buck Clayton's Buckaroos: Lazy River/Sweethearts on Parade/Wrap Your Troubles in Dreams/Patricia's Blues/She's Funny That Way/Special B.C. ---Side 2) Wild Bill Davidson's Bulldozers : Wolverine Blues/Wild Bill Blues/South/I Can't Give You Anything But Love/Everybody Stomp/When The Saints Go Marching In...notes on back by George T. Simon.

Regarding serendipitous connections:
1.Buck Clayton- I'm the only on here who knew you BEFORE orthodonture.
2. Mezz Mezzrow -...speaks for itself
3. When the Saints- Best Louis impression.
4. Lazy River- Watched snow for 1/2 hr 'cause too lazy to adjust tv tuner
