Thank you for this wonderful posting. That’s really the thrill of collecting records, finding rare LP‘s like the above mentioned.
I was lucky to score a copy of Jazz from Canton. Beautiful Quartet date.
But I am looking for the Tom Ives session. Anybody out there, willing to sell a copy?

Pontiac PLP-523 Tenors Wild and Mild. Hungarian Don H. Gabor (no relation to the three Gabor sisters) created a stable of 78 and LP labels that included: Buckingham, Concerteum, Continental, Diamant, Haven, Lenox, Masterseal, Merit, Palace, Paris, Plymouth, Pontiac, Remington, and Webster (named for Webster, Mass. where the company's pressing plant was located). Continental, Haven, Lenox, and Remington included 78 recordings by jazz artists. I have examples on all four labels. Tunes this Pontiac album features are: But Beautiful, Ready for Action, After Hours Bounce, Music Goes Down Around, Ravin' at the Haven, Leapin' on Lenox, September Song, and Big Trees. Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis did Ravin' at the Haven, Leapin' on Lenox, and But Beautiful. Morris Lanes recorded After Hours Bounce, Big Trees, and possibly other numbers. All identified titles were originally issued on the Lenox 78 label.
