I have a pristine copy which I bought for far less, but in the previous top dollar range. Seems like a catch now. This price for the BLP 1588 is up there with the Jackie on AdLib and BLP 1568. If you ask me, there are other Blue Notes that should be up there as well, which are very rare and very hard to get your hands on.

It was made on columbia in association with gerber, and features clooney saying empty platitudinous things like “a baby is a gleam in his father’s eye” while cocktail classical plays in the background.

beyond weird. almost creepy.
