I have the reissue of the Brandenburg LP as well and I’m totally content with it. The music is good but overall it’s not an album I feel like I must have an original of…unless I found it for a cheap price anyways. My copy of “sortie” is the Polydor issue; got it for a relative song many years ago and I actually prefer its cover over the original GTA and Japanese Globe issue. Of course I would not pass over an original GTA if it came my way for a few hundred or less….

I’ve had good luck with the seller ‘manusardi1’. I like the Brandenburg – have a reissue – and it’s got a special charm, but that charm is certainly not mainstream. That tends to be my area of traffic, though…

I sold him an LP once, which he later resold at a higher (visual) grade for a much higher price!

manusardi1 is a reputable seller from what i know, but is no one else bothered by these notes:

NOTE! THE GRADING IS ONLY A SUBJECTIVE ORIENTATION – NO GUARANTY – NO RETURNS !

Keeps me away from the higher priced stuff as you can’t necessarily detect things like groove wear visually.
