I picked up the wax acetate of the Sue Childs album on Studio 4 a couple of years ago. It was from a dealer in Detroit who told me it was found in an abandoned house. Nothing compared to unreleased tracks on metal masters & Monterose is only on a couple of tracks but fun to have anyway.

Given the enormous prices paid for the records at hand, I was still more interested in that short audio snippet of J.R.Monterose's acetates. I still remember downloading it here at Jazzcollector two years ago after you published this article: http://jazzcollector.com/for-sale/more-jr-monterose-extremely-rare-recordings-available/#more-1763 and from that moment on, the sax playing from a 17 year old Monterose "I'm Confessin' That I Love You" still haunts me. If only those acetate recordings would be commercially released on CD, I'd be a happy man. Maybe Scott Alexander still is willing to sell these acetates for a fair price? ;-)
