At the risk of being traated of arrogant and “know it all”, i would never have bidded on this “too good to be true auction”.If i’m financially able to spend 3000 or 4000 $ for an LP, i certainly can spend them buying from a reliable, well established seller, with 100 % confidence. There are plenty on Ebay and everywhere else, and they sell the same “big stuff” mr nautiluso auctioned every week. But it seems like in the jazz collector world, more money than brain has become the ususal behaviour…

Sorry ( or maybe lucky me ), it’s not me. I was looking at the “JM on ADLIB” LP hoping it will find a new home.
Now seriously, since eBay do not provide “completed items” by “seller” after a couple of weeks, I’ve sent this link in case someone is looking for items of that collection.

Good morning,

I’m one of the bidder that didn’t receive his lps yet.
Interesting to know that the package sent by Nautilus with a tracking number was refused by the customs and sent back to Brazil. As we speak, I sent several emails to Thomas( Nautilus)to find out if he received the package back .
As of today, he didnt acknowledge that he received the package back yet.
Another interesting point is that Nautilus doent have any other records to sell .
I already filed a report to Ebay and I will pursue the investigation with Paypal in the next few days.
Finally, I got in touch with one another buyer who didnt receive his lp either..
I still hope that I will receive my lps..Naive..will see ! CEEDEE is right…A nice win is only goog if its as described,deliveres intact in a timely fashion and without blemish.
Thanks to giving us a window to express our opinion
and share our experience.

Duonri,does that “one nice win” mean that you were the winning bidder? Because,as you know,a ‘nice win’ is only good if it’s as described,delivered intact in a timely fashion,and without blemish. (Like a good pizza!?)

Funny you should write about this Al. Just this morning I was wondering what became of that auction and also noticed that there has been no feedback related to any record sold therein. The one related feedback was a guy who complained that the seller was reluctant to accept paypal. Should be interesting how it plays out. I am once bitten twice shy with these foreign sellers who suddenly list a collection containing some of the most collectible jazz titles all at one time.
