I’m so thrilled and relieved that Obama and the Democrats won. I dreaded the prospect of a Republican victory. I live in Sweden where we pay higher taxes to get an almost free medical care for ourselves and our children, free school/college/university, and if we get a child we have the ablility to stay at home with our child when it’s born to care for it and connect with it, for 1 and a half year with 80% of your salary. Sweden is a great country to live in, and maybe USA with the help of Obama can get closer to our way of thinking. Higher taxes, higher standard of life and opportunities regardless if you’re born into a wealthy family or not.
This got nothing to do with jazz collecting though but I just had to send out some thoughts and a woohoo! that Obama won. USA opted not to go backwards, good for them!
