Joaquim, I think seller has got a better outright offer and thus will not sell to you. The sale will be undone and through Paypal you will be re-imbursed. No worry there. The question is whether the system allows you leave negative feedback in that case.

Joaquim,what did they mean it’s “not theirs”? Even a record on consignment has to be in one’s hands before listing it. Al least,that’s the only thing that makes any sense to me.(What seller would list something unseen by themselves?)Please keep us informed…

I don’t really agree Clifford. I sell rock, soul, funk, and sometimes jazz. My grading always stays the same. With the collectible LPs I make sure to pay closer attention however. I want to make sure the buyer is 100% satisfied.

“Woodlore” is a great album; alas, I only have the OJC. Honestly, looking at the seller’s other auctions of punk and metal, it’d be hard to imagine an accurate grade on a classic jazz album. People who sell a lot of rock and especially punk have somewhat more flexible grading standards than, say, Fred Cohen or the sweedeedee guy (forget his name at the moment). As one who collects both punk and jazz records, I strive for M- all around, and that’s an elusive prospect. Good luck if you bid and hopefully they arrive in nice shape.
