...Love that Jackie McLean LP ! I am always surprised that Ad Lib wasn't able to make this one fly as the music is solid, and despite the rarity and market value of the LP, I play my copy quite often... (Even purchased an extra copy off itunes for work.)

I know this is probably somewhere in the Jazz Collector archive, but I noticed that copy of Sonny's Saxophone Colossus says flat edge...but I forget, when did Prestige first introduce the safety lip edge into the equation ?

"I’m sitting at my dining room in the country, overlooking the snow-covered frozen lake, being warmed by a fire from my wood-burning stove, John Coltrane playing “Too Young To Go Steady” in the background.. If you’re going to be working, which I am, this is not a bad way to work."
Or,as a famous tunesmith once put it,nice work if you can get it...
Whenever you eventually retire-as most of us do-you,sadly,will have little to look forward to..you're already "there"(lol)!
