I can confirm, the stereo edition has really odd stereo panning, it is odd because the positioning if the instruments change where they are located as tracks change

The stereo pressings of Chicago are mixed in the old fashioned way so its a pretty hard pan if I remember correctly from my copy.

I’ll second that sentiment as another first timer, really been enjoy the site for several years.

In Chicago is a great set, the one I have is a second non-deep groove mono pressing. If I recall correctly the stereo version is more desirable to some from a collectability viewpoint.

I have that Cannonball record, was just thinking about parting with it soon. (Great music, of course!) Mine is not anywhere near that condition; that is a heck of a price.
