Thank goodness Trane and Rollins left the label before the tenor-organ craze got too crazy, although I’m OK some of the Stitt LPs from that era, but not in comparison to the Verves or Roosts.

Bob Weinstock may have had some good (financial) reasons to go into this direction, but for me it meant the end of Prestige as I got to appreciate it.
