@GST – agreed, does not look like a DG copy of the Dolphy. Then again, I think most if not all the purported original issues I’ve seen are like this one. And I can’t imagine paying $100+ for a trashed album, no matter the cover image…

Actually I should add that 20 years ago many of these expensive blue notes were selling for considerably more reasonable amounts!

Wow I totally missed that “free jazz” auction; the booklet indeed looks cool.

Also surprised about that Elvin Jones Impulse title going for over $200..I paid no more then $20 for my “EX” copy around 15-20 years ago myself.

Auctions can get silly…

On a side note I was surprised at the price of this Miles Davis on Barclay. I believe it’s been called the “Junkie Cover” before on this site. $112.50 for G vinyl and G+ jacket? As the saying goes it only takes two bidders…
