Good price on Hank’s Mobley’s Soul Station. Perhaps UK Vinyl’s reputation took a hit based on their Peckin’ listing?

Picked up a Mint copy of The Cannonball Adderley quintet in San Francisco with Nat Adderley. Riverside white label 311. What a great sounding and terrific LP. Starts off a little slow but hits a home run in short order.

That Sonny Murray lp is a monster, though you have to be in the Free mode and not the deepgroovenoincrvgplastyliteP mode. Had three copies over the years, still have one, never found the booklet that supposedly came with it.

Usual going rate for the Henry Lowther ‘Child Song’ LP on Deram is about £200 I think. Really nice LP – and he’s still very active doing gigs here in the UK.

I used to have a Japanese copy of the Jihad title but even got rid of that; the recording quality is so poor I find it hard to get into the music.
