I consider it an honor to have a record that passed through Red’s hands. I just put on some Zoot in his memory (“Warm Tenor,” on Pablo, with Jimmy Rowles, George Marx, and Mousey Alexander). RIP Red]]></description>

I spent 2 hours talking about Zoot with Red,it was an education . I remember many  people walking by his booth and sayin, “ Hey Red , got any new Zoot records ?” He was a joy and and one hell of a talker !]]></description>
