I put it up because I found it interesting, just listening to the vinyl and staring at the turntable, as one may do in one's own home -- assuming one had a turntable and an original pressing of Soultrane. I also thought the sound quality was excellent -- to my surprise. I have my computer hooked up through my good audio equipment and it sounded almost as if I were playing the vinyl here. I didn't expect that, assuming the file would be compressed for video. I liked the concept of just filming a record playing, particularly for YouTube, where vinyl may be new to some people. I may try it myself one of these days: Perhaps with a 78.

Instead of just having the 'frozen' image of the turntable setup, using images of Trane and some of the accompanying musicians would have made for a memorable video clip. As it stands the image(such as it is)gives the viewer nothing for your time, except the music. Which may be the 'point'. Although the idea of someone logging onto YouTube to hear what vinyl "sounds" like is a bit strange,if not bizarre. You know?

I really don't know what to think. Maybe I don't grasp the question.
"Good Bait", of course, is a monumental piece of music, by an assertive musician, who had just liberated himself from the shackles of addiction.
