Bethellodge, that's great to hear. My personal favorite of the Tal LPs is The Swinging Guitar on Verve. It was an original Verve pressing, not originally on Norgran or 10-inch LP, and the tracks are a big longer and there's a little more stretching out, both by Farlow and Eddie Costa. You can generally find this one for a reasonable price and my advice is to jump on it. The Tal Farlow Album is also fantastic and I'm glad you like it.

Al, I just picked up a Vg++ copy of The Tal Farlow Album, yellow label Norgran, $60 CDN at my local shop. Had not heard of him until I became a JC reader. AND I just happened to have $58 in credit at the store. I turned about 15 records into that one, but 100% worth it in my opinion. Love it. Thanks for turning me on to him.

I have the red cover # 7016. This is a second issue with the 2nd version of the NY label, it is not kakubushi. I had 7015 in a gray-ish pastel colour, with the same pictures. It was a first issue, kakubushi, I sold it one year ago. The second edition of 7015 had a blue cover, believe. I have 7015 and 7016 combined on the 16 RPM Prestige # 2. I also have most of it on 10". It is not great music, one can do without.
